the girl
Hi, I'm Becca
the girl
You can usually find me in pursuit of the perfect chocolate chip cookie: brown butter base, underbaked by design, crisp edges, a soft center, pools of gooey chocolate, and a flaky sea salt finish — or creatively convincing plan participants to increase their retirement contribution. I contain multitudes.

I traded late agency nights and office goldendoodles for the more buttoned-up world of corporate finance. Who could blame me? I’m a 2020 college grad. I crave stability (and benefits.)

Working both agency-side and in-house has turned me into the Swiss Army knife of marketing I am today. I’ve worked on national brands like Uber Eats, T-Mobile, Hulu, and Kraft Heinz; today, I write for 1.5M+ plan participants through ICanRetire at Capital Group. Strategy, storytelling, UX copy, lifecycle emails — I do a little bit of everything. Like a well-stocked pantry. Is it that obvious I'm into food?

Outside of work, I religiously follow pop culture and relentlessly consume reality TV. I touch grass when required, experiment in the kitchen when inspired, and always make room at the table for the people I love.

I’m constantly craving a new challenge and will never turn down an opportunity to flex my creative muscles.

If you’re still reading, you’re my type of person. Let’s grab a bite, virtually or in person, and chat!

ICanRetire
How do you convince someone that saving for retirement isn’t lame? You make it feel relevant right now.
Through personality animals, customized personas, interactive tools, and a boatload of empathy, I help turn retirement from a far-off afterthought into something people can actually picture — and plan for. I’ve led copy across brand refreshes and quarter-long campaigns, pitched and implemented new storytelling formats, and built content strategies that make people feel understood, not lectured.
Retirement is personal. The way we talk about it should be, too.

What struck me most when working with Becca was her instincts for bold work, and relentless ambition to make it happen. She knows what it takes for brands to break through, and really connect with people in today's noisy world. As a creative, she is always hungry to learn how to make her work stronger. She is never afraid to work through feedback, and is always willing to listen & learn. Becca has a bright future, high skill ceiling, and I look forward to seeing all of the incredible things she will do in her career.

Becca is an absolute ROCKSTAR and will benefit any agency that hires her. Not only is she a skilled writer but she is also a big thinker. Becca is not one to wait around for someone to tell her what tasks to do, she is proactive, thoughtful, and an all-around team player. She also has an amazing work ethic and a hunger to learn. Any agency would be beyond lucky to have her!
